Anyone else notice this? (release handle INSIDE of trunk)

dude, they wouldn't make a safety thing like that without a switch to deactivate it. On the actual locking mechanism (middle of the botton edge of the trunk, eye level when you're lifting the trunk) theres a lever on the right side and next to it, it says "cancel" with an arrow.

i forgot the actual statistic but as far as i could remember it was like 35 people a month in america accidently lock themselves in the trunk...
lol i really dont get how you can accidentaly lock yourself in your trunk? i mean im sure its possible, but why would anyone be sitting inside their trunk first of all...i dunno just beyond me i guess

the cancel switch is for the trunk release from inside the drivers seat. this way if some breaks into your car they cant get whats in your trunk. i have mine in the cancel position always.
