Anyone else hate their job??
Cause I freakin do! Im a lead installer for Magnolia Home Theater and it sucks! I mean the pay is great but with the economy the way it is, who knows. They already cut my days down to 4 work days a week and changed my days off. Im this close to taking a baseball bat to every single flat screen TV in the store. I will one day put my work van in neutral and push it off a cliff. You may ask, "Have a bad day at work Andy??" For the past 2 weeks, everyday is a bad day at work!
*end rant*
So how are you BAIC?

It happens man... i think everyone is starting to feel the crunch on the economy though... They have been cutting back hours at my job... and we are starting to ease into out peak time of the year, and there still aren't that many customers coming through...

Ditto. I need to save up money for grad school though and my job pays well considering how meager my skills are. I can't quit with the economy like this and expect to find the same deal.

I know how it feels like. I changed jobs three times the last 3.5 years looking for something that I really love doing (which is my current job) because the previous positions were not what I expected them to be. I am really lucky to get my current job when I did (before all this ish hit)....
I say tough it out and look for a change as soon as possiable; do not stay in a place that makes you unhappy (unfortunately easier said than done right now). Use that energy into something productive and be proactive; update your resume, figure out what else is out there, network with people and places etc...So when times turn around you will be ahead of the game and all set to jump on a better bandwagon.
Good luck!

I can't say i hate my job all the time, but there are a good amount of days that i do hate having to work. If I didnt have good benefits and weekends off than i would hate my job more, but its hard to complain when i work 4-10 hour shifts and i have sat/sun/mon off. I just hate working nights!

At the moment my job sucks!! I have a pretty good job in terms of pay, benfits and all that but sometimes it just sucks... Still waiting to become a professional poker player, that sounds alot more fun than my current job..
Well I won't be quitting anytime soon, so will have to get up tomorrow morning and put in the grind again fro the rest of the week (

I seriously want to go back to school. I have enough money saved up to last me awhile, just means no more new car parts for awhile...
Ill try to tough it out through the holiday season, but then I might need some assistance from the BAIC to drive my work van off the Golden Gate Bridge after
