Exclamation To anyone considering buying IForged wheels.

I was thinking about getting a set for my car, but after seeing all kinds of bad feedback about their products, I decided against them. Even though, the wheels LOOK nice, they are apparantly t3h suck... http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showthread.php?t=54306

Lesson to this story: Buy Rota :P

I kid, I kid. Yea, that sucks that a company that supposedly makes "high end custom wheels" has such crappy craftsmenship.

Not mean to bash on these Domestic Forged wheels companies. But in reality, I just think their quality and customer services both lack quality.

If you want forged wheels, go w/ German or Japanese brands. I have not heard anything like that happening from BBS, AC Schnitzer, Work or Rays.

Cal, I'll be calling you today on some pricing for a set of 19" BBS LM's. I was also considering some old school Volk III's, they look so ****ing clean, but I think they're discontinued now.

I've had very good luck with Forgeline (US company) on my Impala SS (Forgeline RS, 17x9.5" front and 17x11" rear ). Light and definitely strong, very well built wheels. That said, they weren't cheap (approx $550 per wheel) and I am not sure they do any Subaru fitments......but they probably could since they custom-build every wheel.

Speaking of multi-piece wheels I need to find out about getting some new hoops for my 16x7's from a Japanese company called Racing Direction. I at least need some new valve stems since the JDM stems have smaller air nipples...

I'll try and get a picture of what it looks like. Cal if you have any suggestions I'd appreciate it.

Yes I said air nipples...
