i know the SF auto show is not one of the major industry shows but im wondering if they are debuting anything remotely interesting or if its all old stuff.

I went on Sunday.. it was allright. The years before were better, more concepts and exotics, this year was kinda boring, alot of companies didnt even have their nice cars (No SRT/8 from dodge, no Sky Red Line, no BMW 335 twin turbo, etc...). A couple cars i liked were the Suzuki AWD hatch with a 300hp Hayabusa (i THINK) engine. I tried to ask the rep what the liters were on the engine and she kindly explained to me it was a V12.. which was hillarious.
The volvo S70 R AWD is a pretty nice ride too, especially the interior, i wish i coulda drove it.
Z06 was nice.
V10 Audi was nice.
Camaro Concept was fugly as hell.. i didn't like it.
They also had an eclipse with the EVO motor in it, front mount etc.. which looked awesome.. i dont remember if it was 4WD tho.
The Mazdaspeed 3 was cool.. nice top mount setup with the air being ducted from the front through the hood to the intercooler.. but the car looks boring as hell, inside and out. I would throw a front mount on it and slam it.

I thought the Tesla was pretty damn sweet!!

I went for the press/VIP preview evening where champagne and sandwiches were served. Pretty nice show, except for those damn bratty kids.

Sounds like we had a better showing of cars in Sacramento last week. That's pretty weak. Glad I didn't go today.

I'm going (Friday) only because my daughter has been bugging me to take her.
Not a big fan of the SF show. It's never been that great. Mostly dealers.
Now LA....that's another story !
