Anybody in the South Bay know what happened to 104.9?

I come back from vacation and the radio station is now mexican...WTF????

did they change to another frequency or just bought over?

uh i swear the death of rock stations is happening all over nor-cal

ive resorted to listening to the rock channels charter cable offers
clear channel

I can't stand the short cut-off of songs, commericals, etc. I guess this is where sirrius and such come in handy eh?

ummm...but how do you listen to fm949 in the car. constant internet connection for the car is kinda expensive.

i guess the latin community is bigger then the english speaking community
ever notice hardly anyone here speaks english anymore?

haha yeah i know, but its still better than anything local, like streaming from home or work.

its more like the latin la romantica listener community is bigger than the american alternative music listening community.

meh...but then there are a lot of good internet radio stations out there. actually yahoo and google have some really good ones with almost no commercials.

Yeah that's true.
e.g. www.radioparadise.com is a good eclectic rock station.

I'm only promoting fm949sd.com cuz i'm still a true believer in FM radio - the free voice of the public. It's slowly becoming not free and not a voice. I just like supporting FM stations that keep it real, so to speak.
