Anybody see that BURNING WRECK off Alvarado exit 880 ??

After heading back from MPJ I see this burning wreck.. looked like a truck on the end of the offramp from Alvarado on 880S. There were flames engulfing the whole thing and thick black smoke billowing out of it. Just wondering if anyone else saw this it was pretty hard to miss if you drove past I hope nobody got hurt.

there was a buring reck on newark blvd. last night, last night we went to starbucks, and so we were standing outside, becuase it was closed talking to one of james's friends who works there. There was this newer silverado that went screaming by and we heard the tires screach, and then a crash, so we hopped the wall that runs parell to the street (newark blvd) and ran down to the corner of the on ramp for the highway (84, dumbarton bridge), where the accident was and the guy hit the embankment in the bushes by the on ramp, and his tires were spinnign, so there was a TON of smoke and so we were all like, HOLY ****, so james and a couple of guys ran up to truck and then it caught on fire so they couldn't get that close and it looked like no one was inside, and then we heard the fuel line catch fire and it exploded, i ran the other way, but james had gone closer to the truck to see if there was anyone in there, we ran when we heard the fluel line, when i turned around I didn't see james, but he ran a different way. Then the cops came, they busted the windows, and there was no one in the truck, so it was probably was stolen and the driver bailed.... it was crazy, my hands were shaking like crazy.

Yeah, this was the accident I saw last night around 9:30ish as I was headed to work. I was trying to get info on local news but there wasn't any.
Did you confirm that it was, in fact, stolen? Just curious...

no idea if it was stolen or not, but why would someone bail out and disappear if it wasn't stolen?

Could have been DUI. Those people often bail to avoid being caught drunk not thinking that the police know it's their car by the registration.
