Primitive: Wheels, Brakes, Suspension
Primitive sells them but I would like a test ride before I buy them.

Now you've heard of one person. I've got the stock ride height, higher rate King springs on my 08 WRX with Koni single adjustable shocks. Got them from Primitive - they don't stock them, so figure on 2-3 months to get them wound and shipped from Oz.
I'm down in Santa Cruz, but will be in Santa Clara this Saturday. Send me a PM if you're interested and we can figure out a time for you to check them out. I like beer.
My opinion: they ride a bit firmer than stock, the rear of the car doesn't sag anymore, I drive on gravel roads from time to time and they're still soft enough for that, but have great handling for twisty back roads, the Koni's seem to complement them well, I run stock sway bars - only the rear seems too light for the set up.

I'm north of Santa Rosa so Santa Clara is still a bit far for me. Thanks for the offer though. If you're ever heading up 101 through Healdsburg, we can meet at the Bear Republic and I'll trade you a beer for a look/ride
Are you running Koni inserts in OEM struts/housings?

I have a 06 WRX so it's a slightly different case. But let me ask:
Does it feel like an STI in rate?
Is it progressive or more linear?
Your sway bar situation sounds about what I would expect. I'm thinking of going back to stock front 20mm sway bar because I want more independence. The thicker bar was an absolute must bandaid for the soft stock springs. But since I put the SPT pinks on, then they aren't so necessary. (although you want them for the track).
However on the rear, the stock bar is 13mm on my car, and that's way too understeer biased. I would need a 20mm stock bar from an old bugeye sedan.

If you stiffen the rate, but shorten not the free legth, the car will sit higher. To keep the same ride height you have to shorten the spring by roughly the amount offset by the increase in spring rate.

I have an 03 sedan lifted on Kings
Like my title says, I have a 2003 WRX sedan lifted on KING springs and I got new KYB GR2 struts to go with them and some General AT2 Tires. I'm in the Bay Area and am available if you want to feel the ride (it's awesome)
