i NEED to get in shape, anybody know of any leagues for pure beginners in the jose? or, even better, anyone interested in just playing soccer for fun?

Anyone know any decent pickup games in the East Bay at weekends, I have no games until the fall season and need to try and get back in shape from a couple of months lay off.

In San Jose there are a bunch of Indoor Arenas.

Off the Wall - Santa Clara near Home Depot
MVP - off montague next to FedEX
Strikers Den - off hellyer

Outdoor there is SBSL (crappy league)

Send an email to their free agency pool and pray someone is looking for people

I play weekly pick up games.

Monday - San Jose High Academy
Saturdays - Lincoln High School

PM if you are interested in going to any of those and your number because we also set up last minute pickup games.

You can also try Craigslist to find any local pick up games.

Should get a Team together for OTWS. Then if everyone sucks we could have the team in one of the lower divisions.
