i picked up a hockey stick for the first time in 3 years last weekend and realized that the 14-year old me could probably kick current me's ***. want to start playing again so i'd be able to beat 14-year-old me without crosschecking the punk kid in the face.

i used to play there and work there as a ref and scorekeeper. i have since switched to ice at oakland ice center but was thinking of playing there again

 

Just be careful bro. I recently started playing softball and pulled my quad lol. We're not as young as we used to be....

 

I went through the same thing lol. I play at Sportsplex in San Jose. Well organized, nice clean facility, good mix of people/teams.

10 yrs ago I used to be able to skate circles around anyone, but now I get owned by all the young kids sprinting all game long.

 

I'd love to start playing again. I just need to find time. I have all new gear. I just don't have time.
