I found a place that has some in stock, but I just gotta confirm if they will ship it since they're not in CA.
Yes, I know there is no tuner & no built in speakers.
thoughts?

You want a TV JUST AS GOOD?
Get the new V series from Panasonic. You can buy a 58" V10 for $2700. It's all a Kuro is, and more, since it's final refresh rate can be set for 96Hz for 24p content. Kuros are 72hz for 24p.

Both the standard Pioneer and the Elite uses the Kuro Panel
Panasonic's V10 also uses a version of the kuro panel but is still a dual layer PDP
you wont get the same contrast and there is no crystal emissive layer to prevent reflections
Buy the Elites now when you can, Pro-101 or pro-151 60" is probably the best tvs outhere

but seriously... $2000 premium for that?
On a side note Joltdude: what have you noticed/heard about the lifespan for the 9G's display brightness? I know it is a plasma thing, so I was wondering how slowly/quickly the 9G's have been losing their brightness over the past year or two of life.
