If I recall correctly, I remember him saying he had a friend at Top Secret that gave him the secret recipe. So he's not official Top Secret but he's a buddy of theirs. Or something.

it is actually the same color as that weird m3 color, go look at those pics they are the same tone.

raised hood is somewhat of a drifter thing. by putting some washers under the bolts on the bracket, you raise the hood which allows the wind to flow over it, hit the windshield, and flow into the engine bay to cool things. might also be a reverse scoop type effect. not really an expert on these things. Either way, it helps with cooling, just not positive if by letting hot air out or bringing cold air in or both.

No. That allows the air to escape from the engine bay through the "crack" that you get my spacing the hood brakets.

umm theres a BIG difference in the color. If you've seen that m3 color in person and look at the high quality pics of the wrx you will see the difference. Those camera phone pics suck and dont even do the car justice.
