Jet Blue is cheaper a lot of the time now.
Anytime you travel on a holiday weekend, expect to pay for it

if you want something cheap yet pretty decent go with Vrigin, lol. The seats are nice and every seat has a TV/computer with tv games etc. When i went to vegas last they were also the cheapest.

I flew virgin a few times to john wayne this year not because they were super nice, but because they were actually cheaper than southwest.

agreed - check virgin. They're either going to be similar or cheaper than southwest.

around the same price so southwest it is, and it would be easier for me to get to oakland airport than to sfo. 300 bucks round trip so not too bad.
