cops are pretty chill, just dun **** up bad like run stoplights/stop signs hahah. Seabright beach is open till like 11ish* depending of cops are around. Theres public bonfire pits you can start but after 11 you gotta put em out or else cops are gonna come get you. Otherwise you can stay there as long as you want.
Seabright is a nice beach, but usually too crowded for my liking as it is right near the boardwalk.
You won't be hassled as long as you follow the rules and don't act like jackasses.

its a pretty nice beach. but the sand is filled with tan bark and seaweed and you have to leave before 11. I suggest not using the provided parking lot and try using the residential parking instead. This way they wont give you a ticket if you're out there past 11. Plus, its really easy to get to and only takes about 25-40min depending on traffic conditions.
Seabright and the near-by Twin Lakes beach (other side of the harbor) are two of the most heavily ranger patrolled beaches over here because of their popularity and ease of access. Especially now with the weather warming up...There are quieter beaches (less/no rangers) but it depends on what you're going to be doing...
i go there all the time with my gf cause she likes having bonfires with friends
**** all in the sand though
usually we dig a 10 by 10 by 8 pit in the sand and sit in there and have the fire in there

Well... Seabright Beach (aka Castle Beach) or the twin that makes "Twin Lakes" is pretty chill
It depends on which section you are at... It will probably be better towards the light house but you have to use the stairs to get up and down the cliff... A good idea would be to park by Aldo's and walk along the edge of the harbor and set up near that end... It might get a little hairy if you set up on the other end where the Castle used to be...

That beach is patrolled because its also right next to New Brighton camping area.
It also smells like ish most the time. Not a good beach for teh girls that like to complain about stuff you cant help.
