Yea I am definately familiar with the differences between a limited and stock sti; among other things black brembo's, heated seats, sun roof, etc...

What I'm more concerned about is how are they holding up mechanical wise? That's of course with using our crappy 91oct gas...

Hey Jeremy hows it going, haven't seen you in a while.... I've been spending too much time in the e90post forums.. What are you driving now?? Z06? Thinking about getting a limited now since it's time to let the WRX go but there seems to be issues with 07 including the crappy tune from the factory that another member just mentioned..

Mechanically, blown ringlands aside, they're fine. Like I said before, on the 07+ MY it is a crap shoot on the longevity of your engine. It largely depends on how the car was driven on the stock tune.

If you're buying used, I STRONGLY recommend a leakdown/compression test before you agree to anything.

I have one. Absolutely love it. Super clean, love my leather seats and sunroof. Only issues so far that I HAD to fix was that terrible 07 ecu that Subaru has. Once I got the protune, all the inconsistency with how the car was running went away.

Love my leather & seat heaters on cold mornings, and the sunroof is fun. Just wish my Limited was an STi limited. Haha.

How many miles did you put on the STI until you got fed up and did the protune?

haha at least you got a majority of the features i want; leather, heated seats, sunroof. That'ts why I decided not to get a regular 06-07 STI because the blue carpet kills me lol

around 10000 miles. I was fed up the whole time. Cut out issues, inconsistent acceleration, bad rev matching on the downshift. I waited for subaru to come up with a re-flash first. It didn't take care of it so I went forward with the AP and tune. I couldn't be happier with the results
