okay i know that hands down your guys roads are paved much better than ours....
for those of you who have driven on tantalus drive here in hawaii- are there any type of roads similar to it? as much as i love driving on tantalus, i long for a smooth paved road with the same funky hairpins with off camber type of turns...

I wouldn't generalize it too much, you guys have some great roads! We have some sh!tty roads and we have some awesome ones, I happen to live where we have both, unfortunatly some of the best here aren't paved too well. Come visit and check it out.

Sure, there's alotta fun roads in the Bay Area, but Tantalus is unique in and of itself and there's nothing in the region that offers the same scenery and tropical greenery.

I'd put it this way: we have more fun roads, but we don't have anything as purty as Tantalus
