anyone went there this weekend?

 

Although sadly, I never caught any of the actual races on Sunday. I got caught up in the go-kart race they had for spectators. Still, I did manage to get some decent pics from around the paddock. There was no shortage of new Ferraris, some great vintage models, and some interesting racing models. All-in-all, a nice day at the track.

Yep. My friend, the tech in several of the pictures, said they've been working well. They were told to keep a close eye on their wear, but so far no problems. Personally, I was pretty impressed with the on-board jacking system and the aerodynamics - notice the rear diffuser and the front wing under the bumper.

That f50 and the enzo made the trip worth worth it. The racing was pretty pathetic though.

I saw a bunch of them today on san felipe road by evergreen college;




there was also a red enzo followed by 2 yellow 360's but I couldnt get my camera quick enough

 

They were also some on Piedmont Road in San Jose today around 11am. I heard some distinct engine noises, looked outside and a bunch of Ferraris were just crusing down the street.

They had the same decals as the ones ZeR0 posted

 

Those are the 360 Challenge. It's the 360 Race car that you can buy (basically). It's not street legal either

The Challenge Stradale looks very much like the race version but is street legal.

 

Sorry, but you are mistaken, in fact those were participants in the "Ferrari Challenge Rally" which is open to all owners of street legal Ferraris (who happen have 6 grand to spend on a weekend adventure drive).

It is a seperate event, but usually run adjacent to a Ferrari Challenge race event, as the Ferrari Challenge support truck gets used for both.

This week they had film crews from PBS's "great drives", Good Morning America (airs this sunday weekend edition) and Fortune Magazine riding along

Registration and tech was at Infineon Sunday, then a special stage at Infineon Monday morning followed by a transit to Bodega Bay for lunch and back with a checkpoint near Windsor before returning to Meadowwood resort in Napa Valley.

Tuesday started with a special stage at Solano County Fairgrounds in Vallejo after which they rallied along the east bay hills for lunch at the San Jose country club another checkpoint in Gilroy and overnight in Monterey.

Yesterday they started with a special stage up the access road into Laguna Seca, then lunch at a mansion on top of a mountain above San Juan Bautista, I had to come back after lunch, but they finished in Monterey last night.

Their next one is in Portland in August.

And jeremy- that car is back, word is the other two are now parts cars so this is now truely a one-of -a -kind
