I dont think you can remove those dents on bumpers since they're hard plastic or soemthing, prove me wrong if I am tho.

It's possible, but it might be more cost effective and save time to just replace the bumper with a new one.

You could, but it won't be perfect. Heat gun and rubber hammer!

some guy backed into me and pushed in my bumper, not on the corner but more towards the wheel, and I was able to just reach my hand up and push it out right there in the parking lot. Not sure if it will work for you but I would try getting a rubber mallet or something and try bashing it out from the other side. gl

The problem with a dent like that on a plastic bumper is that after you pop out the dent the plastic bumper will be creased and the paint will be "stretched." It will probably have an "orange peel" look to it.

But if you are bent on fixing it, then pop the dent out, lightly sand/scuff the affected area with some 800+ grit sand paper and skim a thin layer of bondo over the dent to smooth it out. Then finish sanding with a wet/dry sand paper 1000-1500grit before primer/touch up paint is applied.

IMHO, if you just pop out the dent and put some touch up paint on it.....that is exactly what it will look like...

The bumper is super easy to remove. Clips on the bottom. One 10mm screw on both sides of the rear bumper on the inside of the fender well, there is even a notch in the fender lining. Just stick your fingers in there and you will feel it. You also have to remove the tail lights. Behind the tails are more clips and one 10mm screw for each side.

All this takes about 8 minutes to remove the bumper.

Remove the dent...

See, super easy!!

There are also 5 clips on the top lip of the bumper. You have to lift your rear hatch seal to see those clips. Just use a slim screwdriver to get in there to pop those clips. They come out real easy.

Have fun putting them back in..
