Any I-Clubbers go to Rock the Bells?
It def was off the hook.. de la and guests, i woulda never thought id see Dres ever in my lifetime. Plus Wu-Tang were the highlights of the show.. what was up with the no booze policy?? and i dont give a ****, never felt talib and mos defs set was WACK AS ****. Mos Def needs to stick to hollywood now and quit ruining my rap shows i dont care if his BFF is Dave Chapelle or not. Its ok Wu-Tang set it right even with all the mic trouble. **** the concord pavilion
I was at the SoCal one this year. Wu-Tang tore it up sik! SteveO was there and did a "tribute" to ODB. That foo got butt-nekked and started doing back flips. This pissed off Raekwon and he made SteveO apologize to everyone, ahhah. Had Lauren Hill as the surprise guest. The event didn't end til like 130 or so.
Yeah... living legends were there.
I also went to the one last year in SF outside of The Mighty... I thought that show was better because it was like a huge block party. Something about having a kick-*** hip-hop show in an inner-city alley is the epitome of "keeping it real"... there was only about 2000 people there as well!
