Any good ideas on how to mount a front plate?

I'm trying to bring my car back up to state spec....

I know Evos have a system that lets you mount the front plate to the side of the front air dam...not blocking air flow to the intercooler.

Anybody know of a setup like that for our cars???

Right side fog light cover...although its probably gonna be the left side for you cuz if I remember correctly u have an intake on the right side.

for state spec, the only way it would block the intercooler is if you had in mounted on the hoodscoop =p

all kidding aside, I used to have a Y shaped bracket that would hold the plate out and to a side with minimal drilling.

one of the guys that got his hydra tuned with us awhile back rigged up a hinge on his front plate, it was pretty creative. it kind of stands out in the middle of the car but it doesn't block the FMIC. basically when the car was sitting with no air on it, the front plate would be in the normal location somewhat infront of the intercooler. once any bit of air hit the plate though, it would blow it back and make it perfectly slanted with the front end and the IC would not be blocked.

here is a pic with the dyno fans blowing on it
