I just hit this guy who pulled out in front of me on El Camino in San Carlos. I swerved but couldn't miss him and I hit his left rear bumper with my left front. Nobody was hurt and there was hardly any damage to his G-class Mercedes.

My left front is smashed and it looks cosmetic but I see an oil leak. No sure where it could be coming from and I don't want to open the hood because I may not be able to close it again.

Anyways, can anyone recommend a good body shop near Belmont/San Carlos/Redwood City. Preferably one that specializes in Subarus, if they exist.

it's not in belmont/san carlos/redwood city, but i would recommend yeamen (sp?) in east palo alto. it's on bayshore road near embarcadero...
they do an excellent job and are really nice people to deal with as well.

I'd also recommend Stanford European's (Palo Alto) work. It's really expensive, but very good. I'd suggest it only if you're having your insurance company pay.
