I would wait for an event sale like a holiday of some sort. Thats how you get cheaper prices on any big stores.. Or get em used from someone here. Post on the wanted thread, ya never know.

Get the mechanics style tools not the cheap bulky ones

just keep going to sears and see what is on sale. something is always on sale. just have to go often enough to make sure you get the best deals

there was a craftsmen 50 % discount off just last week, shoulda jumped on that. keep checking ***************

 

sign up for the craftsman club and then keep checking sears ads in the sunday paper.

 

they had a 254pc. mechanics tool set for 199 pretty good deal. i think the sale is over now

 

stupid craftsman gave me a defective ratchet and spark plug socket. Can't I get those replaced under their lifetime warranty?

just make sure you let the first sales droid you see that you are BRINGING IN one of YOUR tools...

otherwise, you might have security all over you...
