was a 250sx until i merged it with a 300sx motor.awsome lowend and rips through all the gears.
mostly trails and pismo.cant do tracks because 90% of the time the other riders are to slow

I have been without a bike for almost 2 years now and its KILLING me. Im really trying to find a nice bike again, I went to Roseville Yamaha and talked with Sean and might work something out with a new bike. I really miss riding, so many good times.

 

Getting ready to buy my first bike. Anyone willing to show me the ropes at carnagie? Trying to find the best trials. Would be cool if we can do a big get together and ride.

we have a 450 aprillia SM for sale. Fun bike, but has aBAD cold bug. takes FOREVER to warm up.

2008 550 with the black case sealant, starter gear upgrade, etc. 1500 miles and running strong. derestricted and properly tuned by scuderia. No problems what so ever, other then keeping the front wheel on the ground.

Mine fires up almost instantly no matter what the temperature is. Takes only a few minutes to get up to operating temperatures too. If your's is pre-2008 they did not come with the high idle cold start on the side of the airbox.

 

it is a pre 08. once shes wearm she is scary. ilove the lightweight motor. i wish there 450 motor was approevd for US moto. it would kic *** on all the single cyldrs we run now....

i am just very weary after the original 550 issues. BUT, i know several folks who have the ame story as you. i thinkiof you are willing to "jump thru hoops" so to speak, you end up with one sicko, pissed off SM. and they are sexy as all hell. AND they offroad REALLY well.
