I want my driver's rear fender to be rolled out a bit more. I haven't rolled the fronts yet, but maybe I should. Anyone know if the GC's would be okay on 235's on the front without rolling and no fancy smancy camber settings?

Would you be able to rent the unit and put down the deposit money, and me and flatline could probably pitch in for the fee for the rental.

I would imagine it would take them longer than that as I know those boys do good work and to do a proper job without bending other area's (think thin metal something always gives!) without cracking the paint takes time and patience.

Personally I think LIC is ripping themselves off doing it for $215.

First- Mike you are a classy guy and thank you

Second- I agree with this statement "Personally I think LIC is ripping themselves off"

*and for what it's worth, it takes way longer than 30 minutes...but factor in the I don't give a crap and sure, I bet you can do it in 30 minutes We can't on the other hand.

Mike is correct...it does take longer than 30min to do a PROPPER and CAUTIOUS job so that the paint/thin metal doesn't crease or bend and so that the quarter panel doesn't crease inward either. I've seen a few RS's out there that have thin sheeted quarter panels and when attempting to roll the rear fender they accidently crease the panel causing it to "suck inward" kinda as if you dented the area.

+1 for Noah! I don't know who rolled my rear fenders whether it be Adam or Kevin, but it's perfect and I didn't even know I had rolled rear fenders until I asked Adam about it and he said Medwin already got them done by you guys!

and for what its worth, it would only need the rears rolled, which is $120/$150...BUT that's going to change in 2008. PRICE increase FTW

*FYI- RS coupe will more often then not fold in and ruin the 1/4 panel

Why are you getting your fenders rolled anyways? Are you running some crazy sized tires or something? I know the that L fender is really only good up to 215 and 225 size tires, but at some point, the tire size is going to work against you.

Or are you rubbing because your shocks are giving out? My L's shocks were blown at 110k miles or something. Was even rubbing on my my stock wheels/tires. Replace the shocks and brings. You'll have to do it at some point.

partially my shocks are getting too spongy. I have forester wheels and they slightly rub. I want to roll my fenders for the future and to put off getting a new suspension until my parents let me.

You are just better replacing your shocks and springs. Tell your parents...

Mom, Dad, my shocks are completely gone. It has be 100K+ miles. Car has been on the road 10+ years. Something is going to fail sooner or later if it hasn't yet. While you are at it, you might as well tell them about the silicone seals that are deteriorating and that is why there is oil leaking on your driveway. Sure rolling fenders is a cheaper way to go, but it won't fix your suspension problem.

KYB AGX - $400ish new
Springs - $200ish new

Hell... I know someone selling JIC coilovers for $600.

The fact of the matter is... you roll your fenders for... $100/$150. You buy your new suspension later on. Guess what... your fenders still don't do squat unless you are running 225's or bigger. My two cents.

Call GST or LIC or whoever and ask them their professional opinion. They have more experience with an issue like this than I do. They'll know how to go about it.

Yes this is true, though with lots of patience and WAAAAAAAAY more than 30 minutes it can be done right.

I'd rather roll the fenders now, and do the shocks and springs next fall when I have a lift and air tools at the school auto shop
