Any airplane pilots in here?

I effing envy you

Got to ride with a coworker in his plane (that he co-owns) from Oakland to Little River (near Mendocino) yesterday. I had the controls for most of the flight back (good times). I'm an aviation fan and looking to get my private pilot license in some near future.

So anyone on here who has a pilot license?
Here's the plane we were in (crappy cell pic):

Whoa. Nice! Do you own the Comanche? Are you planning on working for an airline? Are you a CFI?
My co-worker's plane is a Commander 114 hangered at Oakland airport. It's fairly roomy inside. Even in the back. His retirement plan is to instruct lol (currently instrument rated)

Cool, the Texan is a legendary plane. Did your dad fly for the military?

My dads a CFI and several other titles I can't remember. Flying is so much fun, welcome to the club! Wish I could go up in the air more often

Edit I found out some more the titles
CFI, CFII, MEI, ATP, and some more. he can basically fly anything. Airliners, single/multi engines, jets. Just had a client buy a retired jet fighter. That thing is badass!

Yeah, my Grandfather used to have a Bonanza but when he passed away we had to sell it. then after years of renting i took the plunge an got my Comanche, there nothing like being able to just show up at the airport and just go. No one to report to, to time limit, no rules, no wait list, no block out date. I can go anywhere any time ( unless the plane is now for maintenance like now).

Not an instructor but that is the plan eventually! Maybe one day I'll be giving I-club members some instruction, who knows!
