Anti-Lag or Launch Control For 02 WRX?
LC is not really for me, I go to the track with turns
Anti lag, not really for me either I am just having fun. That little extra bit is not worth it for me vs the wear and tear.

we don't use anti-lag or LC or anything along those lines...our driver does do FFS (AKA as no lift shifting). but I don't think our car is in need of any of those other items for what we do....if it was a drag car, yes I see purpose but just not for us (and what would we gain maybe a few 0.0xx, I can have the driver take a dump next time

We had antilag on the GpN car running a Link ECU. It's obvious why it's on there, but it was actually good fun on the street (not that we'd ever drive the thing, obviously). It was set up so that it activated after a certain amount of time at WOT.
I have no idea why you'd put launch control or antilag on a street car.

LC would be useless in a TA car
Well since, "I live my life a quarter mile at a time. Nothing else matters: not the mortgage, not the store, not my team and all their bull****. For those ten seconds or less, I'm free." to people like me it LC is all the difference

Not really.

correct, he no lift shifts; its funny when we look at our logs, you can see gear changes and the TPS @ WOT...the first time we saw it we were like WTF, something is wrong with our sensor, he chimed in to let us know he stays WOT in between shifts

LC and FFS are available on the Cobb AP V2, but only for the 2.5l ECU's. There is a patch available for the 2.0l ECU's on the OpenEcu platform, but its fairly new and not as well tested.
True anti-lag requires a standalone and a bit of hardware to work properly. It may be possible to implement something with the factory ECU, but it would be tricky and likely not worth the time.
Thanks
