so laguna was quite fun
and another event is coming up

thunderhill!
clockwise! (ie backwards)
on monday, nov. 24

$195 entry fee
about 2+ hours track time

like what? auto-x is $8 per min and u have 2 work 30ish min, + buy lunch. but thats just how i see it

All the auto-x's I go to are $25 and 5 runs, plus fun runs... Thats more like $5 a run, but working the course to me is just as fun cause I get to watch all the cars in action and see the good drivers up close.

But thats not the point, the point is that $200 is the high price for track events... If they were half that price, I could go more than once, and I wouldnt care about half as much track time either cause its still time on the track at an affordable TOTAL price.

autocross is teh gh3yness...it used to be cool when an SCCA membership only cost $30-35, or when you could pay $10 more at the event to run as a non-member...that was back when I had my ole '68 BMW 2002 ('97-'98)

and **** SCCA for making Thunderhill runs so much $$$...go NASA!!!

SCCA = out of synch with us enthusiasts
