Another one bits the dust
UPDATED AGAIN 2/16/07:
OK, I have the car in my hands now.
Total bill (all to insurance):
13,052.79
woohoo!
UPDATED 1/31/07:
After a big PITA fight about my deductible and getting new tires (which the other thread I started helped with, thanks!), insurance has finally agreed to pay for 4 new tires AND waiver my deductible (because the other driver was uninsured).
W00t! My car should be done by Friday of next week!
-----------------
Driving along 10th St crossing mission in SF today. Halfways through intersection. WHAM. Get t-boned. 17 year old ran a red light at 35MPH+
Gonna be a ***** to get repaired. I'd almost rather they total it, as the loss of resale value is going to suck. Even the rear halfshaft was bent and it appears the frame rail down by the door might be damaged. Right side airbags deployed. Ugh!
UPDATED:
Shop says no way is the car totalled, they will have no problem fixing it
They claim I will be on the road with it by Wed of next week, in which case I am taking it in to trade in BEFORE the accident shows up on carfax

Dayam man, sorry to hear - Driving in SF city streets can be scary - there are many places I can think of - especially those diagonal crossing streets and intersections that are at the top or bottom of a hill which are open invitations to red-light running. hopefully your frame is bent so they can total your car.
