wow just wow.... the officer made a lot of threats to violence, wouldn't let the guy speak at all and the guy very obviously tried to make multiple attempts at informing INCLUDING giving them the card.
What they did was down right DANGEROUS, you NEVER get in a car when you have not removed, searched and secured all people involved... they ****ed up from the beginning and then took it out on the poor guy because they realized how close they could have been to getting killed.

For those interested in this, there's an active thread on the CalGuns forum.
Ohio cop threatens to kill ccw'er (July 2011) - Calguns.net
Also, for a good text recap of the video, and additional information regarding the Officer involved:
Video: Canton officer under investigation after concealed carry arrest - Canton, OH - CantonRep.com
For those in CA with 2A interests, who feel motivated to protect their rights at home, I suggest looking at CGF (CalGuns Foundation) - which is a registered non-profit.

another cop with a "police mans ego". Take away the badge and watch the coward come out. The guy in the car is not the reason cops get killed. That cop is the reason cops get killed. Good job "officer", making the good ones look bad you piece of crap coward. Carries a glock 40 to overcompensate for a tiny *****..
Stereotypes are problematic, as it tends to result in inappropriate treatment of a larger group of people, based on the assumptions that are found to fit an individual or segment of that group.
Be that "CCW holders are idiots and are a danger to LE and others" or "Cops hide behind a badge and a gun, and would be a coward without it."
IMHO, this particular officer would be just as much an *******, if he didn't have a badge or a gun. It's the fact that he has a badge and a gun, that makes it that much more of a problem.
Glock 40 is most likely a department issued sidearm.
And one other thing... "That cop is the reason cops get killed." There's some real problems with this statement. Seriously, please think about what you're saying.

yes.. If it's a 9mm, its probably a variation of the sig P226. Very commonly deployed. Most common .40 I've seen over the years is a variation of the Beretta 96G(pre 2000) or the glock .40. Its a pretty nice hand cannon.
I understand what you are saying. Can't take it back though. Instead, Ill restate. It's my opinion that when a police office shows the stereotypical behavior of "Police mans ego", it can and will lead to more cops getting killed. If some brainless person wants to take that as an "ok" to justify killing cops that has nothing to do with me. Back to the video...It's stupid behavior on all parties from the beginning. If it was me with the CCW I don't care if i was being told to STFU by the cop. I would have made sure to identify that i was carrying regardless of the level of noise, or instructions given. The guy with gun is an idiot. The cop however is not the judge. He is an LEO. He should act like it and stick to his "verbal judo", a skill which is so highly regarded, right?
This view seems to imply that police officers are shot, because they're perceived as being aggressive, bullies, willing to threaten someone's life, etc.
It's my view that police officers are shot, because they are engaged in a situation with a suspect who has decided that he/she is unwilling to be arrested, at the risk of their own life.
I fail to see any correlation between the two.
If someone goes out on a serial killing spree, targeting police officers, under the reasoning that cops are bad people and therefore need to be put down, then I would feel it gives your opinion credence. To my knowledge, that's not the case. The closest I've seen to this, is police "drug dogs" being targeted with poison bait, which is a completely separate motive and reasoning.

you know... i've been yelled at by cops from the get go, it's hard to say anything when they're barking at you off the bat. i always try to be respectful with cops but they're such smart asses from the get go. i try and defend cops all the time but it's hard to not say **** the police when they act like that.
also: "...to protect and serve." I don't think I've ever really seen this happen. all the times i've needed a cop were never around or never even answered my call. all the times i had a question, they couldn't answer.

****... i've never gotten that. i was always treated like i killed someone for "not" signaling at a turn. but maybe CA doesn't have that code. -____-

It is like that with most anything, which is sad, but ultimately a part of life.
I just hope that something happens, if not already, to this guy. There is a limit to what an officer should/can do but outright abuse of power is completely wrong and going on rants like this guy; what a shame and discredit to those who actually love and perform their job to the fullest.
