I think their relatives were just in front of me here. They stopped in the middle of a three lane street with their blinker on in commute hour traffic.

Please do not stand behind vehicles when that are in motion. I had made this a rule at my old work when parking 24' bobtails. After I left the company they decided my rule was dumb and stopped following it. Someone was seriously injured because a driver "could not find the brake peddle."
