ok some of you guys might be pissed off or whatever bcoz there's another thread...
oh well...ive searched,asked,PMed people,look at the manual,
asked a mechanic but no good feedback....

2 weeks ago,we went to L.A. its was HOT as FnCK...
my A/C was cold and running...
then when it was time to go home,but my A/C just wont turn cold...
so i guess it just needs to get refilled...

yesterday i tried refilling my AC w/ r134 w/ leak sealant.....
it fills up but wont hold the pressure....

the blower is on all the way, but no cold air.AC button is ON.

now here's is my dilema...

does the sealant really works?
do i need to buy UV dye?
is it the expansion valve?
is it the compressor?
or is it the AC lines?

please help, i am clueless when it comes to these stuff..

Use dye. Find the problem the right way. Don't just guess or hope someone on the internet is right. Or have a shop diag it for you.

Where do you live? My Uncle is an HVAC Technician and I am going to be taking my car to him to have my AC looked at...hasn't worked in 2 years, never really needed it but it's getting hot.

 

Is the pulley on the compressor turning when you turn the AC on?

 

i would love my ac checked.... price check lok
