Announcing: The WRB Subie Scooter
No, its not really a Subie, but at least its WRB. Gets 60MPG out of its 1.1gal fuel tank delivering fuel to its MASSIVE 150cc single piston design with the latest CARBEURATED technology Stops on a dime with its GIGANTIC 6" disc brake and rear DRUM brake .
w00t! Even has remote start! It does hit 45 pretty easy, 35 with 2 people, 25 up lombard with 2 people.

I don't know what to say. At least it saves you on gas and is wrb. People in the city drive crazy on those scooters. I had to literally had to push a scooter with my foot last week when I was on my suzuki. He didn't bother to look right when switching lanes.

Nice scooter! My scooter (to get around the pits at the races) is a lot more ghetto than that, but it DOES have an I-club sticker on it
So, you gonna be out at GGF Sunday for Round 1 of slush?

Yes, I will be at slush. Yes, this scooter will obtain an i-club sticker (and probably a NASIOC sticker, but that word is verboten here ).
Handling? It handles like a 216 pound, 150cc SCOOTER. 30ft time is probably faster than my WRX, but its no motorcycle. Its good enough for commuting and thats about it.

Cool, I'll probably be at slush but in the WRX.....on STOCK struts! Had hoped to have the Impala running again, but no luck so far. And I had swapped off the coilovers on the WRX to figure out a clunk (which I did)...
It handles, umm, "interesting"
Just got back from the SCCA Solo Nationals last week in Topeka KS (ran Tom Grote's 89 Honda Civic Si in STS....and achieved my goal of NOT coming in DFL ). Was a blast, the event is HUGE!!! Forbes Field in Topeka is an interesting site.....grippy concrete (similar to Atwater) but so many bumps that it makes Candlestick look relatively smooth!

Why would you go for a little scooter instead of a little motorcycle? I have owned a couple of motorcycles and I think I've always had pretty good milage and they can be fun to drive too.

2) Cheaper to insure
3) Cheaper to run
4) No need to leave the city with it
And yes, rau, I do live within sight of the pretty multicolored flag. The castro/noe valley is the best place in the city.
