So I was at Northstar yesterday, walking into the village with my GF, when this flabby, PBR tall boy drinking scumbag who looked like he needed a long shower and a shave starts calling out **** to my GF. Needless to say, this made my blood boil. Now, when I was in the Marines, this would obviously be the green light for me to rearrange this dude's face, but in these situations in "real life", it gets me so ****ing confused. If I do anything to this dude, he's going to whine to cops/security/lawyers, and if I do nothing, he just keeps doing this to every girl that walks by. That **** isn't right. I keep walking through this in my head thinking "should have done something, should have shoved my foot so far up that dude's *** he can taste it."
I was pretty much paralyzed by the confusion about what to do. I didn't end up doing anything because we both snowboard pretty much constantly, and it would be a total bummer to get kicked out of this place (especially since we have a condo here, which would go to waste if we can't board). There were also little kids around with their Moms and stuff which would probably be totally traumatized by the severity of the beating I was prepared to give this dude.
So what have you guys done in a situation like this?
I'm just hoping I see the same dude somewhere on the slopes away from witnesses and security... Especially if he's sober. That way he can feel/remember the consequences of ****ing with the wrong people.

Let karmatic judement do its thing, I see people like this all the time up in tahoe, and if they are out there treting people they dont know like that, then they are probably very unhappy with their own life. you have a girlfriend and dude does not. you did the right thing and walked away. Someone will not be very appretiateive of his **** one day and they will probably be a trained martial artist, so dude is gonna get whats coming to him dont worry about it. . . . .
keep the vibes positive and keep boarding!!

Whenever a stranger says rude stuff to me I just laugh. It ends up pissing them off because they are obviously trying to upset you. I don't believe I am what people call me so I could care less what people say about me. I probably have heard every cruel word anyone can say and by just laughing it off eats away less at me nowadays than when I was younger. Life is way to short to stress on what people say about you.

Unfortunately, you did the right thing.
Given the current pussification of this country, you most likely would have won the battle, but lost the war.
Maybe get the staff/security folks involved next time?

That's a good idea. Thanks for that comment. Makes me feel a bit better.
Again, I hate how America is and humanity crap. The whole idea of integrity has gone down the line.
Would have been just a headache had you kicked his *** and explained to them "he was sayin **** to my GF" wouldn't have been enough for a valid *** beating. In America between the country lines, integrity has gone to crap, and therefore you did the right thing. You need to have a gunshot wound or the other guy with a weapon to do anything anymore....and then you still go to jail for manslaughter.

Should've had your girl tell a security guy that he was harrassing her and every other female walking by this douchebag. The joke would've been on him.
Either that or you could've goaded him to take the first swing (pretty easy to do with drunk people lol) and then knocked his *** out.

You did the right thing.
I mean it sucks that it was "the right thing" but you saved yourself and GF to be able to continue boarding (much more important
)
However, if it was out in the parking lot on your way out.... things could have gone differently

You can't beat ppl up for talking 'ish. If you could, then internet forums wouldn't exist.
Best plan of action: grab your GF, plant a big kiss on her face, while flipping him off, then go enjoy the snow.
Message - "I'm here with a chick I get to bang, you're here acting like a child, and we are off to have a kickass time"

Maybe I should try implementing that. I get all kinds of put-downs and names from people, and brush it off.
Your method isn't simply brushing it off, it's throwing it back!

I agree with Paul and BRAH, have your gf tell security that the douche was harassing her. God knows you, me, and probably a buncha other i-Clubbers would love to rearrange the faces of @$$holes like that, but given the way things work in this country in this day and age, what can we do, right?
