Well, i just picked up a elm327 from infuse off ebay; can't wait till it shows up! I'll make sure i post up feedback when it arrives (i'm liking this torque app! debating whether to buy now or after the ELM arrives...)

figured id wait till the ELM shows up and test it with my phone + the sedan, but $5 aint much, worth a try anyway

That torque UI looks pretty kool too, if I had a Droid phone I'd definitely get that.

Just a note - received the ELM327 today and ran it on my way to work with an Android HTC EVO on my '11 STI - looks like it works initially!

I'll report back with more info as i test each parameter to make sure it's reading proper.


ALSO - how's everyone setting up their phones on their screens?? is that using a video out converter to your HU? I'm running an alpine HU, have the hdmi out cable for the evo (will have to see if a composite one is available)



Also, anyone with any luck trying to use a OBD Bluetooth reader with an iphone? (i'm getting rid of the Evo)...

that's the Rev iPhone app w/iphone display output to his in-dash screen i'm guessing - utilizes plx (or similar) wifi obd dongle for transmission
