Well Im already running a turbo back exhaust and SPT intake with a tune from Mike at GST. I am thinking of swapping the SPT out and putting in a KS Tech 73mm Big Maf intake. Also already installed is a Walbro fuel pump. The last few tidbits to get installed and tuned for is the bigger top mount, MBC, 850cc injectors and of course the turbo

That process west tmi. Look exactly like my APS tmic. Might just be a re-badge. But I really like that tmic shroud! That would fit my tmic as well.
And a disco potato is a Garrett gt28rs, it's a completely different turbo.

and BTW, isnt the pickle basically the same as a 3071R? Same size compressor and turbine and BB cartridge, thats def plenty of turbo, especially if you want to stick with a top mount IMHO

Is there something specifically bad about the pickle compared to other med sized turbos like a the 3071r or 20G, or is it you only like big turbos? Ive been out of the turbo game the last few years, but people who have it seem to like it

Honestly, I would try and find a used aftermarket tmic and save $200-$500. I got really lucky and found a Spearco tmic in great shape for $200 awhile back. Their out there, you just have to search around for them.

I really like it, still haven't really completed my build (but when is it really "completed" lol). It spools really well and just recently found out I had a 1/4 bung on my up pipe that was wide open so I was losing pre turbo exhaust this whole time and I also have a new Tial 44 mm EWG set-up and catless DP that still needs to be installed, so we will see how awesome it will spool with the TMIC. Now I just need to get that splitter!
And the 2.5R is not the same as the 3071r, its bigger. The 3071 has a 44 lb compressor and the 2.5r has a 47 lb compressor. So its sorta in between the 71 and 76?
