Aluminum welding?

I have an AEM intake with a hole in it. I thought I made a good patch, but would prefer to have it actually welded. Does anyone know someone that can do aluminum welding and can do this in the Bay? Doesn't have to be pretty..

Thanks!

I heard the most hardcore welders are the guys that can weld two soda cans together.

Try Andy over at Speed Element/MPJ he does tig welding and does a good job by all accounts. If he isn't available let me know I have a fabricator that does fantastic work but may be a little over the top for your needs,

Oh and yes he can and has welded half cans together when bored out of his mind so he qualifys as hardcore (although the 40 years experience may prove his talents a little more).

+1 bazillion for Gordie, but he's overkill for most jobs.

Well, my mountain dew can and dynamat patch looks like it's flexing and might be starting to fail.. Just didn't want to McGyver it again... The Dynamat holds awesome, worst case I will make another patch just using a less-flexible metal over the hole.

yeah, pick up some 1/16" or 1/18" aluminum, shape it to the pipe, then JB weld all the way around it
