i got mine already...

kidding...

but i did see it. the screenshot is ridgeracer # sumthin rather. from a gran turismo fans standpoint its a ****ty unrealistic game with crisp graphics. other impressions: the main unit is massive... its like the size of a shoebox, for shaq's feet. i know people arent really getting em to tote around, but physically, the size of it kinda makes it less appealing. still its just a gaming powerhouse so no ones complaining, just dont expect fast n furious cars to cram these things into their gloveboxes anytime soon. anyways, i cant afford one so i wasnt super excited when i saw it, so i just have those 2 pics. enjoy.

yea that is true at first glance. but you could say that a racing game isnt really the most graphic intensive thing you could run. on top of that, i dont recall any ridge racer being particularly impressive to an auto entiusiast. i think this system will probably shine most (if it does shine) when the first person fighting games come out. from what i can see with the RR game, the graphics are just extremely smooth and fluid. 360 is prob. the same, but well see where the game developers go with the units capabilities.

i think it'll stay that way for awhile, seeing as how developers have had a year with the 360 already. probably be another 6 months before you start to see the real difference in graphics between the systems, then it'll all start to hit the HDTV (or lack thereof) bottleneck with alot of people.

yeah only reason I'd get one is so I could sell it. I have no issues waiting for the less bugged version to release in the spring.
I can get one now I just don't have the dough.

I was in line at Fry's....Found out they only had 30 of the 60gb and 10 of the 20gb. I was like 35 in line. I wasnt going to wait the night for the 20gb just not worth it.
Plus at Fry's they have you buy it in a bundle with 8 games. So the 60gb was around 1100 and about 1000 for the 20gb. Once again, no thanks!
