I dont know, I find it hilarious when people talk trash to you on the net like they are a big man, but when you meet them in person they avoid you and get really quiet. Just shows you how big of a jerk they really are. You mess with the girl online but when you find out she's taller than you and can kick your *** its all jut a "big joke and misunderstanding"....argh >

But, just for fun...all you have to say to them is....

It's so funny when you walk up & introduce yourself to the online thug & you see that "Oh S*&^" look in their eyes when they find out you're taller then they are.

I personally don't say anything online I am not prepared to back up 100% in person.

The government is taking over the United States of America and we can't do anything about it. Which is the sad thing.

See the funny thing with this comment is, violent personal threats have NEVER been covered by the first amendment, ever, just ask any lawyer. Its nothing to do with online, just try making the same threats in person, over the phone, or mailed in a letter and see what happens to you. Its just that for some reason the perceived notion of the internet is that its some totally anonymous alternate reality that exists in some kind of bubble outside of the rest of society where we can act and say things to people we could never get away with in person or in public without fear of repercussion. Truth is people that E-thug are people that would NEVER talk **** the way they do to someones face and hide behind this kind of thinking, I honestly cant wait till more people get called on their **** talking.

so, is talking dirty and discussing sodomy over a text message :cough:tigerwoods:cough: count as a threat to perform sodomy?

thus being punishable by law as a threat to commit sodomy which is illegal?

just a thought.

Literally had this discussion today with a buddy about lame e-thugs on forums. Bottom line is don't say something online that you can't/won't say to someone face to face and/or back your 'ish up.

fighting words is fighting words; be they in person, over the phone, online, or via sign language. this decision is no surprise in light of the federal interested in cyber bully legislation and California's own cyber bully legislation passed in 2008 for kids.

So we shouldn't post about making fake terrorist threats to Homeland Security?

Sodomy laws have been invalidated by the supreme court.

That would include anything referring to "threat to perform sodomy", what ever the hell that means.

Depends on the situation. In this case he is a schoolmate, but if it's someone who doesn't have any clue who the person is or where they live threatens someone it shouldn't be punishable by jail time, just not allowed to use the interwebs anymore.

Yes, iLoqin, please do as Krinkov suggests. Violently threaten someone in person or via phone or USPS. Please post the outcome.
