Hell you find one again thats is a 4x4, passes smog, you can have the interior just let me have the car, with one seat in it to drive it around and I would takeit off your hands once you get what you need. I would love to have a CHEEP little project car like that, weld in a cage, mount the seat, and go have fun.

Well, the deal I made my friend was - I get the interior and he gets the car for free with my two front seats (in order to drive). It currently has a hogged out cat so it wouldn't pass smog, but it would be free! Other issue is a notchy 2nd gear which is a common problem on Justy 5spd 4WD gearboxes (the 2WD do not have this issue). It's no problem if you are handy with a gearbox but if you are the "must ram it into 2nd regardless of reason" type or one with contempt for a gearbox, it wouldn't be a good fit. These cars are wicked fun off road since they are so light, but you will need to dodge the big stuff.

If that sounds like fun, let me know - I will see if the guy still has the car. I have a potential work paid trip out to where it's at in a few weeks, and permission to drive it back.

Still waiting to hear from the guy. I'll let ya know for sure! I would be down for a Justy road trip. Hope he's still got it!

In other news my Justy is back in the running! The clanking noise was a loose crank pulley. Again. I just torqued this about 8 months/3k miles ago. This time I torqued it to 110ft/lbs and gave it another nudge after that. It's s'posed to be 90. Car is SO DAMN FUN. Can't wait till I can finally get some work done on this car and get it on a track. No, seriously.
