I'm probably going to go check out all the options at a local shop and pic whichever one feels more quality and gets the best reviews.

Check out the StreamLight model if you can get your habds on one... it's a nice little unit. Comes with a good warrantly as well. The surefire does FEEL nicer though because it uses an aluminum bevel around the lens whereas the StreamLight uses a polycarbonate unit. It all comes down to personal preferance and budget. Add the DVD Star Wars Trilogy box set to my list.
