no link just my opinion sorry, i dont see why they cant FINE you, its liek when u get a state ref ticket you either get it corrected by going to the ref or you pay the fine... in this case the ref is gone... so you must pay the fine im assuming
but i agree i can see most peoples tickets being dismissed if brought to court

now this is greater chance of getting TOWed because they cant send u to ref they can just assume car is illegal and tow it

Since they are no longer working. The jugde has no proof that the ticket was correct in the first place. So he has to throw it out.

Do you think this will deviate cops from probeing about mods on your car on regular traffic stops because there is no ref to send you to?

They won't tow your **** unless you're a douche to them, just be cool.
Also, if you are VERY respectful in court and don't try to act like they HAVE to let you off the ticket, the judge will either cut you a break or let you out of the ticket...either way, the situation will get resolved without you having to go to a ref.

Best way is to got to court 8am and tell the judge, You went and its closed. The judge cant fine you because the state cant prove that you were modded at all or you fixed the modds. So unless he has someone in the court room that is BAR/Ref trained and cert. He has to let you off. Just like when the cop doesnt show in court.
