I still called it Lucky's even when it was Albertson's.

 

No idea. I was just a wee-man when they were bought out by Lucky/Ralphs/Whatever.

 

Well, essentially, "Lucky's means low prices - and it means a whole lot more, it's the real-good, feel-good, checkin'-out-a-meal-good, so-nice, low-price store."

Ya, I remember my Dad drinking those when we would go camping. Then as a poor college student, I took up the charge. Those puzzles get a lot harder when you're drunk.

Too bad the cool puzzles don't make up for the fact that you only get 11 beers in a 12 pack.

Please all the gods let it spread back down to AZ-Lucky's was the first place I ever shopped when I moved here, loved that store. Our Albertson's are expensive so of course there's one near my house.

 

Ralphs tried here in the Sacramento area but most (maybe all) failed hard.

I went to the one in Elk Grove and hated the layout of the aisles.

Albertsons must have been bought-out because most Sacramento-area Albertsons have been converted to Save Marts in the last month.

 

yep this is old news my mom works at albertsons she told me this like almost a month ago..

 

weird, the albertsons down here are being changed to SaveMart
