Lets set one of a couple weeks in advance.. I'll be there for sure. If we can make it on a sunday, I can get 3 of my other airsoft friends to commit too. (we'll all ride together).

what is the limit on fps for the guns,my mp5 is shooting 330fps.

 

The rules at the place say 320 fps, but they didn't ever look at our guns nor ask what we had or anything. I am not sure if this is usually the case or not.

 

im planning on upgrading my mp5 soon. what kind of spring, gear and motor do you have?

 

yea, they usually check if people complain. Since we're going to be shooting each other at 10 or even 5 ft. I dont know if i want you to use over 320. you can crack the face mask, and i seen cases where a person was shot with a 350-400 fps gun at 20ft the bb was stuck in his arm and it made a lil crater ... and that's at 20ft .... so yea.

 

i am suprised they didn't chrono any guns it could be hazardous if someone had a really hot gun,say over 400fps that could cause some serious damage....Oh yeah my mp5 is stock, its a classic army they all pretty much shoot 330fps out of the box not exactly sure what the specs are on the motor,gear and spring.

 

i think 320 fps is the standard for CA.

 

400fps isn't much... Ive been shot from like 3 feet away full auto from some freak-mp5 (Ryan, its edgars gun) and all Ive gotten was some red dots.... just hurts a tiny bit more. I think people cry too much. I mean if it was like 500fps or something then maybe...

Anyway, my AK shoots at 375fps according to Airsoft Extreme's chrono... (with .20g bbs) I can use .25 bbs that will bring it down to 320fps.

 

Honestly, I think people worry about it too much. IMO, there isn't much difference. If you wear the proper clothing nothing hurts. I have 2 marks left that are from friday. one on my arm and one on the top of my head, both were shot from less than 5 ft away with no protection. Once I put my jacket back on I could barely feel them anymore.
