that is out of the way for a lot of people. why not the starbucks at the corner of winton and hesperian in hayward? it is just a few blocks down from the place?

do you guys care if people bring there own gear? would a full auto EAG unbalance your games?
do you have a brief minimum gear list?
is the field the same as the tournoment pics?

bring your own gear is totally fine, full auto EGA's are fine as long as there chrono below 340 fps.

 

ah, i might have to tweek it a bit then. we usualy play 400. but we play on large 100 acre fields not thse close quarter areas like the pics ive seen.

 

the area isn't that large. Most of us bring our own gear and all of us run full auto aegs

minimum gear list:
whatever you have
-aeg
-extra mags
-pistol/backup gun (if you have one)
-battery
-gas if you need it
-whatever clothing you typically wear when playing, last time it varried to jeans and tennis shoes to full bdus with vest and stuff
-full paintball mask
-money for all day
-either your own bbs or you can buy a bag of 3000 for $18 there.
-anything else you want.

 

is the full paintball mask strictly enforced? i play with safty glasses usualy.

Trust me, you don't want to get shot in the mouth with one of our guns that shoot a tad over 340fps at like 10 feet. lol

yeah, the full mask is required. you get a lot of hits from less than 10 feet away and people seem to aim for the head a lot (too much counter strike maybe). You don't want to be taking those in the cheek/mouth or ear. Outdoors is a much different story where I see nothing wrong with going the glasses route.

If you don't have a mask, you can pick them up cheap at walmart or you can rent them at the field (it will probably be included in the price). I also have an extra mask but its pretty beat up and the lens is kind of scratched up, but it still works

 

daniel, I was just about to get in my car, drive to your house, and kick your *** for saying that.

on a side note, I went to aex and hobby town today and picked up the stuff needed to relocate my battery. Wiring it up now. I just need to order me self a large battery.

 

I think Kendall or I might have a spare battery for you... I think he has it actually... if not him then Edgar has it... Let me ask for you when they get home.
