I have a funny story about airbags...
I was at the Great Mall with some friends when we saw an Escalade with lambo doors (all of which were open mind you) while driving 10-15mph, then he starts using his bags to raise the car while obviously showing off to everyone in front of Dave & Busters... As we start making fun of him we hear an insanely loud explosion come from the car, and then the whole front of the car hits the floor as one of the bags obviously exploded from the excessive pressure.
His ego was so bruised... Everyone there laughed at him.

I have a similar one. My buddy's dad had a Lincoln that had the factory air ride system installed and the pump failed. It was kinda funny because it looked like it was grandpa rolling hard slammed.

Always fun. All the crap like that tends to happen outside D&Bs. As soon as I started reading that, I thought "Must be at D&Bs".

I remember in SJ I was rolling around with my buddy and these guys bumping in navigator starting showing off at the light and going up and down with their bags. My buddy leans out the window and says.... I bet your **** doesn't get this low and pancaked his 54 chevy... They got real quiet and stopped trying to show off... then my buddy drove through the intersection with his frame on the ground. LOL!

+1 on the Moar Low!!!!!!
90 degree driveway? I don't think you know what a bad driveway is... look at my pictures i have a 2 foot hole in the waterway.
If you insist do it right and spend a ton of money into it. Poor quality will end up shot in the long run.

I'm pretty sure Abbit (sato_unit) is on an Airlift kit and should be pretty helpful on whatever questions you may have. If you have no plans of tracking the car, I say do it. Just cause very few are doing it doesn't mean you can't or there's something wrong with doing it. Seems that people get the idea that Subarus can only be modified a certain way while jumping down the throats of anyone doing something they're not. I'd do it if I had a Subaru and the money

There's also a company out of Japan (I believe) that makes a airbag coil over, there's also a guy on NASIOC from Japan that has been modding his coil overs with air bags. If I'm right about the coil over company, it was a high end company.
