Ah~ post vacation syndrome

I got back Saturday afternoon safely. Thanks goes out to Ray (Broken Arrow) for picking me up from the airport!

After getting dropped off, I went to sleep cuz I'd wanted to watch a bunch of movies on the plane so I didn't get to during the flight. Stupid me.

Then I slept...and slept...woke up for 3 hours...slept some more...woke up for 4 hours...slept some more...woke up for 3 hours...slept some more...woke up - called in to work saying that I couldn't make it in till around noon...slept some more ...woke up - called in to work again cuz I still couldn't seem to shake my need to sleep ... slept some more...woke up for 4 hours...slept even more...woke up and made it in to work!

I think I slept a total of about 46 hours since Saturday afternoon. Next time, I won't watch those stinkin' movies!

Oh...about my trip? It was fun!!
(I'm at work right now and don't have time to post details.)

Aya

I'm working on getting all my pics together (256mb are still in tokyo!). Maybe if I didn't keep falling asleep after getting out of work then putting up the page wouldn't be so difficult!

airplane trips to asia really throws your internal clock off. when i came back from vietnam it took me almost double your time to get back. i came back on 4th of july weekend, so it wasn't so bad for work. going over there is easy enough to adjust, it just coming back that sucks.

Yes, this jetlag is much worse than the one felt after coming back from Europe last year. That time, I just slept for about 20 hours straight and then I was fine. This time, it's affecting me days after coming back. Even as I'm typing now I want to go home and sleep.

Aya

hahahaha same thing happened to me coming back from hawaii. Our team started at somewhere around 5:30 pm, came back to SF the next day sometime at around early morning, had to unpack our stuff, and by then it was already 6 am in the morning. I had classes at 8 am I was going to go but the jetlag hit me pretty hard and I slept the whole day and night and then some I went to class the next day and couldn't stay awake or pay attention in class

But anyways welcome back!
