I'd becareful of the cheap cores out there. If they fail its gets $$$ quick.

I run the Koyo. After my stocker poped. Its been great. The mishimoto has a no questions asked warrnety. So just something to think about.
Also make sure you get the right year for your car. There are differences.

Also if you go aftermarket and its a larger core. You still will have to trim the upper hose. So at that point Samco makes good stuff. I have never had problems with mine. And pretty much all LE patrol cars use silicon hoses. So if you had a failure it most likely was installer error.

Agree, cant go wrong with silicone hoses... although they do cost an arm and a leg.

Well thanks a lot guys for your feedback! I just ordered my radiator from CXRacing. Bryce I'm trusting your input since you have worked on my car in the past, and the +1s toward that radiator. I'm also I'm on a budget.

Installation question: Do you recommend any type of lube or sealant on the inside of the hoses? I hear they're a b1tch to get on. And also, what other types of clamps are safe to use besides the stock ones? (this goes for both the top and bottom hoses and the smaller coolant lines)

has anyone gone to the track with the CX Racing radiator? If so, did you notice any difference in engine temps?
