advice needed on cali smog ref ticket
aiya...$300, it takes me 2 weeks to save up that money without spending anything. i think ill still take everything off bcuz it doesnt take too long to put my stuff back to stock. if i had a fmic or aftermarket turbo, then i would think its definitly worth it to pay the fine.

If I were to choose to pay a fine instead of replacing my turbo inlet pipe, intercooler pipes, uppipe, downpipe, muffler, and a other crap, would this fine be recurring? How often would I have to pay the fine?
It is pretty much worth my time not to replace the stuff and just pay $300. But I don't want to pay $300 every two years.

well, you will have to pay a fine everytime you get caught and mod you car agian. This will happen if you put it to stock, get it signed off and re-mod you car...or if you just pay the fine. I am sure if you get caught too many times and never see anyone about it...they will trip.
If you dont want to take the chance...keep your ride stock. If not...you take that risk.
I was only caught once...wrong place at the wrong time....never had an issue since then.
