As you know Tire Rack now sells the Advan NEOVAs and man they are one STICKY SET OF TIRES the tread is softer than the Potenza SO-3 and prices higher but a better tire for its technology in the compounds and its water dispertion is higher than the SO-3
SO-3s: 6 gallons per min. , treadwear: 220
NEOVA AD07: 7 gallons per min. , Treadwear: 180
now selling at my work at Wheel Works on Ocean

Best "bang for the buck" right now in that type tire is the Hankook RS-2. And yes, I've tried/experienced most of them
