Adopt this dog!!!

So this little guy followed my pit and I home this morning. My gf will be brining him to the pound tomorrow to scan for a chip. Doubtful about the chip, I can't feel anything and he looks and feels like he's been living on the street for a while.

He has a great attitude. A little shy at first but loves belly rubs and is genuinely playful. Does well chasing my pit around. My cats haven't let him get close enough. He seems to be house trained and I kept him in an oversized crate while I was at work. He was lounging when I got home, no pee or poop!

He comes when I whistle at him but that's about all he knows. Haven't heard him bark yet.

I don't have the funds to neuter and get him shots but I will feed him and keep him out of the pound for a week. After that I have to give him up to the pound, just not enough time or money. So meet little dog!

Yep hes pretty neat little fella. Im not really a small dog kinda guy, but he sure brings a different flavor to the household. Someone give this guy a warm bed. He seems to have hard a hard life judging by some of the small scarring on his face.

Bahh I wish I could, I already have my own at home. Same thing happened with me I saw a smaller white dog somewhat identical to that running around on a busy intersection. I got out of my car to get it and it had no dog tags. What I did was made a found dog ad on CL no one responded.... So I then just made a adoption ad on CL sure enough a sweet family came and met her (the dog) and took her home.

Ya Im trying to avoid CL right now. I have him listed on a couple different local forums I am part of. I just dont have the time and resources to keep him long.

Took him out for a walk this morning, no leash or anything, he just follows along...

Since he isn't fixed, probably isn't chipped either, because they usually do both at the same time unless they had a reason not to get him snipped. Looks like a "good buddy" kind of dog.

Check with the pound, I think they have a program where they will spay/neuter strays cheap or free as long as you bring it to them. My mom did that with a stray cat that lives in their yard.

I'd totally take him too, but I don't have room for another pup right now either.
