Its called a tow truck to get to the shop. So heres what really happened. (You got T-boned. The throttle got stuck and your tires were spinning burning them and your clutch up in the process creating a blowby situation shooting all the oil out of your motor all due to the accident) I know I know you can thank me later. Im kinda a pro at these things........Seriously though sorry to hear that.

Be sure to specify a flatbed tow vehicle to prevent damage to the center differential.

How long does it usually take for you to get my your deductible? I'm asking because it's been two months and I still haven't received a check.

OP, you were turning into a parking lot from the middle lane and not the far right? i don't get it.

Usually insurance payments take the deductable out of the payment..I.E...if you have $2500 damage minus $1000 deductable your payment is only $1500

it means "I gotta pay a $1,000 deductable, then they cover the rest of the cost to fix it."

he's not getting 1K, he's paying

when i got into a hit and run with my gti we got our deductible refunded back about a month after all was said and done and repaired.

you might recieve the deductible amount in the form of a check from the other party's insurance if they are found at fault. otherwise you're supposed to "cover" that deductible amount for whatever the repair estimate was.

Sucks to hear. I wonder if the insurance company will total the car? It might cost way over the value, depending on what's damaged. It does look like there's frame damage as well. Good Luck though.
